Easy Chicken Salad Recipe

- 8 cups shredded chicken
- 1 ½ cups mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup red onion, chopped
- 2 apples, chopped
- optional: slivered almonds
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, salt and pepper until combined.
- Add onion and apple pieces and mix briefly just until distributed.
- Add slivered almonds just before serving.
